About BrandsTrack

Reputation intelligence built for African markets — not adapted for them.

Most reputation and media monitoring tools were designed for Western markets, then retrofitted for everyone else. BrandsTrack starts from a different premise: African brands deserve intelligence tooling built around their media landscape, their AI visibility, and their competitive reality from day one.

Your reputation doesn't live in one place anymore.

It's shaped by journalists, by the people who represent your company, by every move your competitors make — and increasingly, by what AI systems say about you before a customer, investor or journalist ever speaks to you directly. BrandsTrack exists to bring those signals into one place, with evidence you can actually stand behind.

Why this matters now

AI is now a first stop, not a footnote

People increasingly ask ChatGPT and Perplexity what a company or an executive is like before they visit a website or read an article. What those systems say back is no longer a hypothetical concern — it is a live, largely unmonitored surface most organisations have zero visibility into.

African markets have been an afterthought

Most reputation and media intelligence platforms were built around Western newsrooms, Western social platforms and assumptions that were never designed to map cleanly onto African media landscapes, languages or competitive dynamics.

Four intelligence layers. One view.

Everything BrandsTrack does sits under one of these — so you always know what you're looking at and why it matters.

Media Intelligence

Every article and mention of your brand across African publications and global news, with sentiment tracked over time.

AI Visibility

What ChatGPT and Perplexity actually say when someone asks about your brand, and the sources shaping those answers.

Executive Intelligence

How your named executives are covered, especially in risk contexts — a leader's exposure becomes the company's exposure.

Competitive Intelligence

How you compare to named competitors in media coverage, AI recommendations and share of voice.

How we work

Evidence over assertion

Every score, alert and report traces back to a real, timestamped source — a published article, an AI answer, a citation. Nothing is a black-box number you have to take on faith.

Built for the region, not translated for it

BrandsTrack is designed around African media, African competitive landscapes and African executive risk from the ground up — not a Western product with a currency toggle added.

Data handled with real accountability

Personal data is handled under the Nigeria Data Protection Act, with clear, plan-based retention — not indefinite storage by default.

Built for the people who own a company's reputation.

The company

BrandsTrack is operated by Brands Nexus Network Limited, a private company limited by shares incorporated in the Federal Republic of Nigeria (RC 9736925).

The team is led from Accra, Ghana, and built in close contact with the PR, communications and executive teams across Nigeria and the wider African market who use the platform every day.

For investors

BrandsTrack sits at the intersection of two trends that are only accelerating: AI systems becoming a primary source people consult when evaluating a company, and the growth of African markets that have never had reputation intelligence tooling built specifically for them.

If you're evaluating BrandsTrack as an investment opportunity, we'd rather talk directly than summarise our position in a paragraph on this page.
